What is a Pink Pamper Pack?

A Pink Pamper Pack (PPP) is a beautifully presented gift pack designed to spoil the Women in need of pampering.  It is a combination of beauty products, vouchers, decadent food and other items which may bring joy to the face of a woman in need.

Where did the idea come from?

Star of the Sea Parish (Cleveland) challenged its parishioners to grow a $100.00 into a sizeable donation to help others in need in our community. Katrina Beutel took up this challenge and gathered together a group of her friends to form a committee and launch the PPP project. The PPP project aims to donate two packs per week to Women in Need

Target Group?

Women in need.  This could include new mothers, women suffering depression, isolation, marital problems, a woman in need of thanks who does so much for others, or just simply women in need of some thing special during difficult times in their lives.

Resourcing Pink Pamper Packs?

The PPP’s were launched at a High Tea Fundraiser on 8th March, 2008.  Sufficient funds were raised to distribute two packs per week for a year. 

The PPP’s is in its second year and its Major Fundraiser for the year will be a Wine & Cheese Night to be held on Saturday 24th October, 2009.  For more info please look at our events pages.

A committee of nine local Redlands women are committed to the continuation of the PPP’s. The committee continues to source all kinds of sponsorship and donations for the Pamper Packs.

Distribution of Pink Pamper Packs?

With the support of Chaplains in State Primary and High Schools, Chaplains at Redlands Hospital, local Community Groups and local Catholic parishes, the PPP’s are distributed to Women in Need.
